Florentzos Design is an award winning multi-disciplinary design consultancy proud of it’s collaborative approach to design which underpins its philosophy of graphic design collaboration with all other design disciplines.
Based in Brisbane Australia, the design director Peter Florentzos LFDIA is an Accredited Designer™ is a strategic designer renowned internationally for his big-picture vision, energy and passion, showcased by his industry advocacy work with AGDA, the DIA and ico-D.
Having previously worked at numerous architectural practices and advertising agencies, Peter established himself as a brand specialist within the architectural industry. Peter has strengths and passion for 3 dimensional graphic design, and specialises in branded environments including signage, wayfinding, retail design, exhibition design, design management, user experience, packaging and point of sale.
The adaption of strategic design thinking processes informed by business modelling and corporate governance are integrated into the design process at the outset which inform the design process and create innovative design outcomes which can be tested, iterated and validated for their commercial success and effectiveness.
Peters work includes the Signage Re-Branding of Mirvac’s Retail Shopping Centres across Australia where he brand managed the identity through signage implementation of the brand across 30 shopping centres nationally. He also completed the Signage Re-Branding for Bank of Queensland as a result of their recent name change to BOQ where he oversaw the implementation of the signage re-brand across 300+ Branches nationally. Other significant projects include the branding of TransLink - South East Queensland's integrated public transport network, Australian Dental Manufacturing, Freedom Fuels, TAB and branding for Leighton Properties housing developments.
Peter has also been a part time sessional educator at QIBT Griffith University Nathan Campus, as well as a Sessional Lecturer and Tutor at the Queensland College of Art Griffith University where he has taught Graphic Design 2, Typography, Design In Advertising and Principles of Marketing. He has guest lectured across various educational tertiary and secondary institutions in Australia and Asia, and assisted with the judging of numerous professional and academic awards, locally, nationally and internationally.
